Cleaning and Maintenance Guide
Today, we will teach you how to clean your CFC 2.0! So grab some isopropyl alcohol, the tools that came with your unit, some cotton swabs, and let’s get started!
First, make sure your vaporizer is turned off and the oven is cool to the touch before we start cleaning.
Disassemble the CFC 2.0 for Cleaning
The next thing we’re going to do is disassemble our CFC 2.0. We can do this by simply removing the mouthpiece and setting it aside.
Brush Out the Chamber
Now, we’re going to take our handy brush tool that comes with the kit. We’ll use it to sweep out any remaining herb that might be leftover from previous sessions. We’re just going to take it all the way around the inside of the oven to dust everything out. If you see any plant material left over at this point, you can just flip your unit upside down and lightly tap the sides.
Cotton Swab to the Oven
If you’re getting any issues with stickiness in there, take a cotton swab, dip the end in isopropyl alcohol, and gently go around the inside of the oven; being sure not to leave behind any cotton fibers in the chamber.
Time to Replace the Screen?
We’re also going to check here to see if the screen at the bottom of our oven needs to be replaced. If the answer is yes, you can take that out, set it to the side, and then put the replacement screen back in. This is after we’ve cleaned anything that may have accumulated around or behind the screen at the bottom of the oven, of course.
Cleaning the CFC 2.0 Mouthpiece
Now we’re going to set the main body aside and pick up the mouthpiece.
Once we’ve got all the leftover flower out of the mouthpiece with our brush tool, we’re going to take some isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs to wipe down the inside and outside of the mouthpiece. You can do this with either a paper towel, cotton swabs, a washable microfiber cloth, or whatever you might have. This should all be a fairly simple process if you’re cleaning your CFC 2.0 regularly; if not, feel free to go over your mouthpiece with alcohol a few times until there is no residue left.
Slow and steady wins the race. Be sure to take note of if it’s time to replace our screen in the mouthpiece too. If so, swap that screen out for a new one after we clean the space where the screen sat and the surrounding gasket.
Cleaning with Isopropyl Alcohol
Last, let’s take a cloth, get it damp with some isopropyl alcohol, then gently rub down the outside of the main body of our CFC 2.0. This is really important when we’re taking it out on adventures since we’re throwing it in our purse or our pocket. At some point, everything will get sticky when we’re seshing, so it’s a good idea to wipe down the outside now and then just to make sure it’s nice and clean. And bonus points for keeping our hands clean too. Finally, let’s make sure that we’re not leaving behind any cotton fibers inside or around the CFC 2.0.
That’s how you clean the CFC 2.0. All that’s left to do now is fill it up with herb, put the mouthpiece or WPA on, and press the home button five times to turn on our freshly cleaned herbal vaporizer. Pick your favorite temperature and once it heats up, that means it’s time to relax and enjoy!
