Cleaning and Maintenance Guide
Today, we’ll be teaching you how to clean your CFX. Before we get started, go ahead and grab some cleaning supplies. You’ll want some cotton swabs, isopropyl alcohol, cleaning tools, and anything else you might need in order to clean your CFX.
Disassemble the CFX for Cleaning
The first thing we’re going to want to do is to disassemble our CFX. All we need to do in order to do that is simply remove the mouthpiece from the unit. It’s that easy.
Brushing Out the Heating Chamber
We’ll begin cleaning the inside of the oven of our CFX. To do this, we’re going to want to take our cleaning brush and gently begin brushing the inside of the oven. This shouldn’t be too hard to do. We’re just removing any residual herb that might be leftover from previous sessions. You shouldn’t have to work too hard on getting leftover residue out. Just make sure you’re thorough.
It’s important to note that if it’s been a while since you’ve replaced your screen, this is a great time to pop it out for further cleaning and replacement. Once you’ve scrubbed the oven for a sufficient amount of time, we’re going to tip the unit upside down and tap out any excess herb that might have been left behind. If it’s been a while since you’ve last cleaned your rig, you might need to do this a few times.
Cleaning the Bowl with Isopropyl Alcohol
Next, we’ll begin cleaning our unit with some isopropyl alcohol and some cotton swabs. No need to over-soak the cotton swabs or pour alcohol directly into the CFX. If it’s been a minute since you’ve cleaned your bowl last, this might take a few passes with your cotton swabs before you see any results. Slow and steady wins the race here. So, we want to be sure that we don’t leave behind any cotton fibers.
Cleaning the Mouthpiece with Isopropyl Alcohol
We’re going to do the same thing that we did with the bowl and start cleaning the mouthpiece with some isopropyl-soaked alcohol cotton swabs. Again, just gently moving it around, getting any excess residue that might be left behind from previous sessions. After going over the device a few times, everything should now be sufficiently cleaned. Also, be sure to give the body and buttons a good rub down too, to not only sanitize, but also get off any grime from previous sessions.
Hitting a Clean CFX Vaporizer
At this point, you’ll want to let your unit dry out before seshing again. If you removed your screens, now would be the perfect time to put some replacement screens in, since our CFX is all clean. Once it’s all dried out, load the unit up and enjoy!
We hope this helped you learn a little more about how to clean your CFX. If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out to our team directly at [email protected].
