How to Use The Tera

So you’ve purchased our Tera vaporizer and are curious how the thing works? No problem. We are here to help. And today we’ll be teaching you some tips and tricks on how to best use your new vape. The Tera is one of our favorite vaporizers since it can be used with both dry herb and concentrates, so no matter what you want to vape, we’ve got you covered! Upon receiving your Tera, make sure to insert the batteries and fully charge the device before your first sesh. 

A Dry Herb and Concentrate Vaporizer

The Tera is a portable dry herb vaporizer that is also compatible with wax. The method of use is a little different depending on what you’re vaporizing. Read on to learn the best technique for each.

Using the Tera with Dry Herb 

For using flower, first place one of the provided mesh screens at the bottom of the oven. Next, load up the oven with your choice of herb, making sure not to pack it too densely. Your Tera has a convection oven, so proper airflow is essential. Then, place one of the magnetic mouthpieces on the device, and you’re ready to start! 

To turn your new Tera on and off, press the rectangular power button five times. The screen will turn on and the unit will vibrate in your hand. For your convenience, the Tera can display temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. To switch between the two, simply press both the triangular temperature buttons on the sides at the same time. Next, select your desired temperature with the temperature buttons. We like to start our first sesh with our herb at around 375°F or 190°C. Generally you are able to vape the same bowl an additional two times, eventually bumping the temperature up to as high as 420°F, which is around 215°C.

Then, hold the power button for 3 seconds to start heating the oven. On your screen, you’ll see the temperature start to rise and once it reaches the temperature you programmed in, your Tera will vibrate as an indication that your herb is ready to be vaped. Each time you power on the oven in the Tera, you will start a 5-minute sesh. After which, the unit will vibrate and start naturally cooling down. When you want to heat it back up for your next sesh, simply hold the power button again for 3 seconds and another 5-minute sesh will start. 

Using the Tera with Concentrates

Now we’ll be going over how to dab out of your Tera with your concentrate of choice! First, take the provided metal mesh concentrate pad and load it up with your favorite concentrate. Next, place the loaded mesh pad in the stainless steel oven with your concentrate facing up. Put on the mouthpiece of your choice, and you’re ready to go. Finally, click the power button 3 times to initiate concentrate mode. You will be able to kick the temp up to 500°F / 260°C for some epic dabs. Hold the power button for 3 seconds and your 5-minute concentrate session will start! 

Using the Tera with a Water Pipe

Now our favorite way to vape from the Tera has to be through a water pipe. Our water pipe attachment for the Tera makes it quick and easy to sesh out of any 14mm or 18mm water pipe. First, fill your bowl with your desired herb just as we did before.

Next, put the WPA (water pipe adapter) on your Tera, and insert it into your favorite rig. A 90° piece will be easiest and most sturdy, but you can use the Tera with any 45° pipe also; it’s all about personal preference. Then, we start the sesh again by holding the power button for 3 seconds and the vaporizer will start heating up. Wait for it to vibrate and you’re ready to enjoy a smooth vaping experience.
