HOW TO USE THE TERP PEN XL

One of our favorite products for dabs on the go here at Boundless Technology is the Terp Pen XL. We’ll teach you how to use the device as well as some of our favorite tips and tricks. Be sure to let us know if you have any further questions and we’d be happy to help. Before getting started, you’ll want to grab your Terp Pen XL, concentrate choice, and dab tool; add in a 14mm water pipe as a bonus if you happen to have one!

Four Ways to Use the Terp Pen XL

Try these four unique ways to vape with the Boundless Terp Pen and find out which is your favorite:

As a Nectar Collector

The first way to use your Terp Pen XL is by simply removing the magnetic cap, choosing your temperature setting (tap three times to cycle through), inhaling through the mouthpiece, and tapping the coils into your desired amount of concentrate. This allows for your choice of either small or large hits depending on your preference or desired concentrate amount. Place the tip of your device directly into the concentrates, being careful not to submerge the coils past the tip.

Dab with the XL Coils

Another way to use the unit is by applying the concentrates to a dab tool to take a dab. This leads us to the second way of using your Terp Pen XL. You can accomplish this by removing the magnetic cap before inhaling through the mouthpiece. Then, merely apply the coils to a dab tool that has your desired amount of concentrate on it. This allows you to better control the amount of concentrate for up to 10 seconds of inhalation. This method also helps prevent clogging of the air holes within your Terp Pen XL coils. Since you will be less likely to clog them when dabbing off of a dab tool versus directly dunking the tip into your concentrate. 

The Dab Pen Method

The next way to use your Terp Pen XL with a dab tool is by preloading the pen for your consumption. This essentially turns it into a discreet dab pen for quick hits on the go. You can accomplish this by removing the magnetic cap before using a dab tool to apply your desired amount of concentrate to the coils. Next, place the magnetic cap back on and inhale for up to 10 seconds for the perfect preloaded dab. This produces even bigger clouds from your dab pen. And if you choose to preload a lot of your concentrate onto the coils, then you may also have a hit off of your Terp Pen XL when preloading. 

One of the many benefits of the Terp XL is that it has a quartz–lined cap for storage of your concentrates. This makes dabbing on the go easy and convenient. 

Terp Pen XL Water Pipe Hits

The final bonus way to use your Terp Pen XL is by removing the magnetic cap and preloading the coils with your desired concentrate. Next place the mouthpiece on your favorite 14mm water pipe, cap, and inhale! This allows you to get those milky clouds everyone loves through their glass. You can also achieve this by doing the same, but instead of preloading your coils, you can also dab by removing the magnetic cap, inhaling through the mouthpiece, then applying the coils to a dab tool that has your desired amount of concentrate on it. Be sure to proceed with caution here as with some 14mm rigs, your coils can be pretty close to your face, which wouldn’t be any fun if you burn yourself. So, when dabbing with your pen and a 14mm water pipe, be sure to watch out for those hot coils!
