USB-C Charging

Adjustable Voltage
Tap the Terp Pen Spectrum 5 times fast near the USB-C port to change the voltage of the unit. The Terp Pen Spectrum will cycle through the color-coded voltages from 3.3V (Green), 3.7V (Blue), and 4.0V (Red). A higher voltage will allow the coil to heat up faster and is for those looking for bigger cloud production. A lower voltage is recommended for those seeking a more flavor experience.
Inhale Activated Heating
Inhale on the mouthpiece to activate the coil. The longer the inhale, the hotter the coil will get. For a high temperature dab, perform a 5 - 8 second preheat to get the coil hot before coming in contact with concentrate.
14mm Tapered Mouthpiece
Connect to most 14mm water pipes by placing the mouthpiece end of the Terp Pen Spectrum into a 14mm female stem. Water filtration can take away some of the dryness of the vapor. This allows for bigger draws with less throat irritation.

EASY TO USE!
The Terp Pen Spectrum can be used right out of the box, although it is recommended to fully charge the unit prior to use. Included with the Terp Pen Spectrum are two coils, a ceramic dual rod with stainless steel wire and a quartz single rod with a Clapton coil wrap. To “turn on” the unit, remove the magnetic cap and screw in one of the coils tight to the battery.
*Important - 5 consistent taps near the USB-C port will change the voltage. The voltages will cycle from 3.3V (green), 3.7V (blue), and 4.0V (red).
OUT-THE-BOX USAGE
Inhale on the mouthpiece to activate the coil. The coil will begin to heat as soon as inhalation has started and will increase in heat the longer the inhalation time is. After 12 seconds of continuous inhalation/heating, the coil will stop getting hot. To restart heating, stop inhalation, breathe out, and inhale again.
*It is recommended to perform a dry “burn-off” on a fresh coil to sanitize it. To do this, remove the middle cover while keeping the coil attached to the battery. Begin to inhale on the unit and heat up the coil. The air path is no longer connected when the middle cover is removed. This will allow any material that may be on the coil to “burn-off” into the air. Reconnect the middle cover to proceed with using the device. This method can also be used to clean the coil or heat up any concentrate build up prior to cleaning.

APPLYING THE COIL TO CONCENTRATE
The Terp Pen Spectrum can be used with most types of solid concentrates. Rosin, badder, shatter, sugars, diamonds, and isolates can easily be consumed with the Terp Pen Spectrum. To begin use, remove the magnetic cap to expose the heating coil. Start to inhale on the mouthpiece end of the device to begin heating the coil. It is recommended to give the coil a preheat before applying concentrate to the coil. Inhale on the device for 5-8 seconds with nothing on the coil to preheat the unit. Exhale to restart the heating time then proceed to inhale and lightly tap the heating coil to the concentrate that is ready to consume. There are a few ways to do this:.
- Use a dab tool to scoop concentrate out of the jar. With one hand, hold the dab tool with the scoop of concentrate and with the other hand, hold the Terp Pen Spectrum unit. Begin to preheat the coil. After the preheat, proceed to inhale on the unit again and at the same time bring up the dab tool to lightly rub against the heating coil. A soft touch of the concentrate to the coil is all that is needed. Continue to inhale and tap or brush the concentrate to the coil to consume.
- Unscrew the top part of the magnetic cap to expose the quartz storage compartment. Load concentrate in the storage compartment located on the tip of the magnetic cap. Concentrate can be consumed directly from the quartz storage compartment.
- Any glass or silicon jar can be used to consume with the Terp Pen Spectrum. Inhale on the unit and at the same time lightly tap or brush the concentrate from inside the jar.
- The mouthpiece of the Terp Pen Spectrum is tapered to fit a 14mm female water pipe. Place the Terp Pen Spectrum unit with the mouthpiece end facing down into a 14mm female water pipe to connect the two. Inhaling on the water pipe mouthpiece will activate the heating coil on the Terp Pen Spectrum. Proceed to heat up the coil and apply concentrate to the heating element while inhaling on the water pipe. This allows the Terp Pen Spectrum to act as a portable e-nail.
- The Terp Pen Spectrum can be used with the cap on. Load concentrate to the coil by first heating up the coil the same way as preheating the coil, inhale on the unit for a few seconds. Then apply concentrate to the heated coil and allow the concentrate to melt onto the coil. Place the cap back on and then proceed to draw on the device. This will allow the unit to vaporize concentrate with the cap on.
